Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth
anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Romans 4:4-5 Now to him that worketh is the reward not
reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but
believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted
for righteousness.
There was a veil in the Temple that separated the Holy from the
most Holy place.
Once a year the high priest would go through the veil into the
Holiest of Holies and sprinkle the blood on the mercy seat to
atone for the sins of the people. Any person other than the
appointed priest that entered would die. This veil separated God
from all the people, no man could come into God’s presence
through the law. So the law was made flesh and nailed to the
Cross, which took the veil out of the way, that any under the
blood may stand justified in the presence of God.
Hebrews 10:16-20 This is the covenant that I will make with
them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into
their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins
and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission
of these is, there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore,
brethren, boldness to enter into the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
by a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us,
