20.Double portion Covenant

It is a double portion covenant. We have both the Father and the

Son. They both bare witness to our salvation and are in us by the

Holy Spirit. John 8:18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and

the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.John 17:21-24

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in

thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe

that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I

have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in

them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and

that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved

them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom

thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may

behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me

before the foundation of the world. When Elijah went by the

whirlwind into heaven, Elisha received a double portion

anointing, he did exactly double all the miracles of Elijah but

one, he died before it could be accomplished. Nevertheless his

bones lay in a tomb and a dead man was accidentally placed

upon them and he was resurrected. Therefore God’s promise to

Elisha was fulfilled after death. Even so we have also such a

covenant that greater things shall we do and have even a double

portion of the Kingdom of God in this life and in the life to
