3.3 DESCRIPTION OF THE ROBERT TRENT JONES JR. COURSE
Hole 15
Take aim off the tee at the grass bun- ker left side of the green. Exactly op- posite of the previous green, perhaps it is best to error beyond the putting surface than short of green since the green fades away from the player and chip shots to green will be easier from the fairway area behind the green. When approaching this green, it is very important to be as close to the pin as possible.
Strictly con dential Information Memorandum
Hole 16
A deep lake bank forces the player´s eye to the right on the tee, but the cor- rect target is towards the left bunker as the fairway terrain feeds the ball from left to right. At all costs, make sure the drive is placed to be short of the deep fairway bunkers on the right. The shot should be placed near the centre of the green yielding. The best place if you cannot reach the green
is short and to the right for the best angle to chip towards the ag.
Hole 17
The target is on the right side of the green in order to stay clear of the lake on the left side.
Hole 18
Denmark´s most beautiful and chal- lenging nishing par 5. The conser- vative drive should be placed left of the lake, utilizing the big tree in the background as a target. Long hitting players can carry as much of the lake as desired which will signi cantly shorten the length of the hole. The green is well guarded by the lake, a stone wall and bunkers lurking on both sides of the green. A perfect nish to a memorable golf experience at Skjoldenæsholm.
