3.3 DESCRIPTION OF THE ROBERT TRENT JONES JR. COURSE
Hole 7
Hole 8
You will give yourself the easiest put if you place the ball on the left side of the hole. If you get unlucky and miss the green, you will also have the best chance of getting “up and down” from the left side. To clear the historical rock wall just in front of the green, make sure to take plenty of club.
Hole 9
One of the longest par 4 holes in Denmark. The drive is between the mystery lake on the left and the bush adjacent to the historical rock wall on the right. A more conservative play is to use and iron and play the hole as
a par 5. The appropriate approach to the green needs to nd the middle of the green or just short, since this will leave the easiest put or chip. Beware of the deep bunkers guarding both sides of the green.
Hole 10
De nitely one of the most challeng- ing drives on the course. Choose a target line for left side of fairway bunker and if you cannot y the ball past the lake and the bunkers, then lay up before the right fairway bunker, which will leave a longer second shot. Perhaps it is best to error right of the green due to the deep grass bunker embracing the left side of the putting surface. The smart play to the target is to the middle of the green.
SKJOLDENÆSHOLM G O LF R E S O R T
The drive is challenging since the fairway is somewhat hidden. Choose the shot line from the tee over the hole in the same historic stone fence. The long, uphill shot into the putting surface is best served to nd the mid- dle of the green. This diabolical green incorporates two levels, which makes it very important to place the ball on the correct level. The ball can be also be placed on the well-de ned ramp way between the series of deep grass hollows and the green.
