5. KEY INVESTMENT HIGHLIGHTS
· Over the years, the total investments in Skjoldenæsholm Golf Resort have been approximately DKK 130 mil. (17,5 mil €)
These investments have been generated by different owners and include estabilishment of both golf courses, buildings and the cost of the land.
· The golf resort is an ongoing business
The daily business is managed by a small team and the manager has a background as a golf tour owner (ECCO Tour) and professional golf player. The restaurant and the cafe have an excellent reputation and a part of the business is founded on a very popular local golf club.
· Actual value of the countryside land is approximately DKK 30 mil. (148 ha of DKK 200,000)
Prices of agricultural land are growing rapidly and it is rather easy for Danish farmers to nance the well situated land, especially on Zealand.
· Actual value of buildings is DKK 17,2 mil. (2,3 mil. €) The total size of the buildings is 3,463 m2

· Actual Investments
In order to continuously keep up with standards and to meet the future demands, the board of directors started up a modernization process two years ago. One of the projects is to update the type of grass on the greens. This is done to ensure an even higher level on the playing surface and a stronger type of grass to meet future maintenance and heighten the golf experience for members and guests. In addition, the process of implementing more assets and fea- tures which can improve the quality of the golf resort even more, will only add up to its list of strengths. This kind of investment will have to be continued.
