Vehicle Identification
Over a period of time, the Regional logo has been incorporated on most Regional vehicles owned by the Region. The four colour version of the logo has replaced the circular, heraldic crest. Because of the variations in models, styling and specific usage, a series of images in various sizes has been produced to accommodate the majority of vehicles. Most applications are applied on the vehicle’s front doors but in some instances
where this is not practical because of space limitations or particular style configurations, the new decals may be placed on another, preferably flat surface, while still providing visibility and Region identification.
Most of the Regional logos are produced on a reflective background for increased visibility at night. Where department names are incorporated into the logo,
the design will again depend on the style and molding configurations of that particular model. The department typeface should be Univers Light Condensed.
Variations on vehicle signage should be directed to Corporate Communications.
