Shown on this page are a few of the items with the Regional logo. Various approved logo/logotype combinations can be used depending on the particular item, style and colour background. As an example, for baseball/golf style hats, a variety of image configurations can be used.
1. The centred version of the logo on the front of hat. It should be noted that if the background colour of the hat is dark then the logo should incorporate the white outline to separate it from background (see page 5). For light colours the regular logo/logotype could be used.
2. The logo with Region of Waterloo curved above it. The same guidelines would apply.
3. The logo alone on the front of the hat and the curved or straight-line logotype on the back.
For uniforms, shirts etc., a rectangular patch with only the logotype could be used in either positive or reverse. The centred or curved versions could be used above the pocket. For shoulder patches, the logo with the type curved above can be used.
Other items such as t-shirts, sweat-shirts and golf-style shirts could use the horizontal, centred or curved versions of the logo/logotype. Again, the same colour guidelines would apply. In some applications the logo alone could be used on the front of the item with the logotype applied to the sleeve, sleeve cuff or back of collar or yoke.
For darker colored fashion-type items, the modified special use logo shown on page 5 could be applied. An example of this would be a bronze/copper logo on a navy or black background.
If the logo is embroidered, care must be taken in the four colour version to ensure the colour blend in the leaf portion is feasible or can be produced accurately.
