Corporate Communications – A Resource for the Entire Organization
Corporate Communications is part of the Chief Administrator’s Office and is responsible for a wide variety of communications and marketing functions.
Staff act as a resource for the entire organization on the matters of the Region’s corporate “look and feel”, graphic standards monitoring and consistency.
Corporate Communications is available to assist with development of full social marketing campaigns, advice about media buying (ie: purchasing, newspaper advertisements, radio buys, and television advertising).
Working closely with Corporate Publishing, Corporate Communications can advise and assist with the development and creation of appropriate communication materials such as brochures, posters, newspaper advertisement, web pages etc. that carry the Region of Waterloo’s logo.
Our staff are highly experienced in media relations. We can assist in writing and distributing media advisories, media releases and can be a resource in planning media events. We can advise on matters of protocol, especially with events involving multiple levels of government.
Corporate Communications approves every new and/or revised web page on the Region’s Main, Public Health and Social Services website.

Corporate Publishing
Corporate Publishing is your resource centre for graphic design, publishing information and the production of any print or electronic communication materials that represent the Region of Waterloo.
As part of an industry that is at the forefront of information technology, Corporate Publishing must be a leader with respect to the converging technologies in multimedia,
graphic design, printing and custom publishing. The department continually experiences increases in production requirements and currently prints over eight
million black and white impressions per year. Due to rapidly changing technology, the demand has been for Corporate Publishing to offer more electronic, on-line and on-demand services. In response to this, you will find an on-line requisition for submitting your print job to us and an on-line form to order your Region of
Waterloo business cards.
Whether you require digital printing solutions, custom printing services, creative marketing materials, or the expertise of a graphic designer, Corporate Publishing can
do it all. Our graphic designers can assist you to create dazzling and functional communication materials. In addition to design, layout, illustration and art direction, we
manage each project from start to finish, finding the appropriate solutions in a budget conscious and timely manner.
