Genesis 1:27 ‘So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he
created him; male and female he created them.’

Ephesians 3:14-15 ‘For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom the whole
Family in heaven and on earth derives its name.’

Galatians 3:28 ‘There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female,

for you are all one in Christ Jesus.’

God created male and female to work together in harmony to care for his world.

Families are very important to God. He is the Father of a world-wide family of
believers.

Way to Work (Means)

1. Review previous lessons.

2. Talk about God creating Adam and Eve to care for the world he had created. Father

God has a huge worldwide family of people who believe in him.

3. Ask the children if they chose whether they were a boy or a girl. It is God’s choice
who we are and he has a plan for our lives. Discuss whether one is more important

than the other. (The Bible says that both are equally important and special.)

4. Show photographs, pictures or read a short story of a family. Create two lists of
male family members and female family members.
