The Baltimore Country Club in Roland Park was aglow in
candlelight and camaraderie on November 9, 2017, as the
medical center’s Foundation hosted more than 250 guests at the
Candlelight Reception of Honor. This event is held annually to
thank our most generous donors and legacy members for their
strong support of the hospital. This year, noted business leader
and community philanthropist, James P. O’Conor, received the
St. Joseph the Worker Award, the medical center’s highest honor,
for his outstanding service to UM St. Joseph. Six new members
were inducted into the Tau Society, indicating their intent to leave a
planned bequest to the medical center.
