Volumetric Feeder with Integrated Mixing Tank
Scaletron offers a line of volumetric screw feeders designed to be an “all in
one” skid package for a solution tank type dry chemical addition process. The
new VMF-90E can accurately dispense chemicals found in water, wastewater,
and industrial applications directly into a supply line. It is ideal when you
need to control the addition of small to medium solution doses of chemicals
to a process. To meet customer demands, Scaletron has combined a rugged
screw feeder, vibratory agitator, programmable control module, and a solution
mixing tank with mixer, and then mounted it all to a base. Featuring rugged
and durable dry powder epoxy coated steel or stainless steel construction, the
VMF-90E offers a feed rate of up to 10.19 cu ft/hr. Hopper capacity is 3.6 cu ft,
while the mixing tanks are available in 35-, 50-, and 75-gal sizes.
