                                                                           Annual Financial Contributions
                                                               Greater White Stone Missionary Baptist Church contributes yearly
                                                               to the following organizations.  At your leisure, visit each website
                                                               to  see  what  a  blessing  you  and  your  gifts  are  to  each
                                                               organization.
                                                               Hope  Works  (www.whyhopeworks.org)      Hope  Works  is  an
                                                               organization  that  provides  care  for  the  poor  and  homeless.  They  offer
                                                               GED classes for the individuals desiring to further their education. Hope
                                                               Works has a 13-week Personal Career and Development Class.
                                                               Mending  Vessels  (www.mendingvessels.com)  This  is  A  PNBC
                                                               Women’s  Auxiliary  Project.  This  ministry  is  a  nonprofit  corporation
                                                               founded  on  Christian  principles  dedicated  to  the  holistic  wellness  of
                                                               women through the sharing of Inter-Generational Blessings (IGB). Issues
                                                               of  today's  women  are  addressed  through  prayer,  open  discussion,
                                                               scripture,  and  spiritual  practices.  Their  goals  are  to  help  women  of  all
                                                               ages meet the challenges in coping with everyday life; to bridge the gap
                                                               between  ages  through  shared  inter-generational  blessings  and  to
                                                               promote healthcare awareness.
                                                               MIFA  (www.mifa.org)  MIFA  provides  family  programs  such  as
                                                               Emergency Service, Rapid Rehousing, Emergency Shelter Placement and
                                                               Meals on Wheels. MIFA also provides senior programs such as Long Term
                                                               Care Assistance, Senior Companion Program and Senior Transit.
                                                               Porter-Leath  (www.porterleath.org)  Porter-Leath now serves over
                                                               10,000  children  and  families  every  year  through  a  variety  of  programs
                                                               including residential services, foster and adoptive care, early childhood
                                                               and parent education, senior services and more.
                                                               Trinity Community Coalition Outreach
                                                               (www.trinitycommunitycoalitionoutreach.blogspot.com)
                                                               Trinity  Outreach  offers  affordable  supportive  housing  designed  to
                                                               provide    housing and appropriate support services to persons who are
                                                               homeless  or  who  are  close  to  homelessness.  The  transition  is  to  help
                                                               them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their
                                                               own.
                                                               Make  A  Difference,  Inc.  (www.madifference.org)  M.A.D., Inc. is a
                                                               licensed  Tennessee  Intensive  Outpatient  Treatment  program  and  a
                                                               Tennessee  Division  of  Mental  Health  and  Substance  Abuse  Services’
                                                               provider.    M.A.D.  provides  high-quality  behavioral  health  and  alcohol/
                                                               substance abuse services to adult male and female recipients throughout
                                                               the Memphis/Shelby county metropolitan area who are diagnosed with a
                                                               severe and persistent mental illness, and substance abuse.  The program
                                                               provides  support,  hope,  encouragement,  and  empowerment  to  help
                                                               those in need lead productive and quality lives.







                                                               Approximately  4,500  babies  are  born  at  the  Regional  Medical  Center
                                                               each  year.    While  healthy  babies  spend  time  in  the  well-baby  nursery
                                                               before heading home with their mothers, more than 1,300 premature or
                                                               critically ill newborns are treated in the Newborn Center each year. The
                                                               Greater White Stone Mission Ministry provides a Mother’s Day Program
                                                               each  year  for  the  parents  (present  and  past)  of  the  patients  in  the
                                                               neonatal  intensive  care  unit  and  prenatal  care  unit.    The  parents  are
                                                               showered  with  words  of  encouragement,  prayers,  powerful  poems,
                                                               informative  information  from  the  staff  of  the  Regional  Medical  Center
                                                               and the Mission Ministry.  A   reception and meet and greet is given after
                                                               the program.  This year’s program will be May 11, 2017.
