Buenas yan Hafa Adai!
On behalf of the Board of Directors, JA Guam would like to express our sincerest thanks for
your support over the past 3 years.
Due to the COVID pandemic, JA Guam will be restructuring the implementation of our
flagship program: JA Company Program. We want to ensure the safety and welfare of our
students, volunteers and teachers so we will be going virtual (as much as possible) for this
new program year.
With this in mind, name of company’s support is a crucial component to the viability of this
new “normal” that we are all experiencing in our community and it is our hope that you will
commit to partnering with us once more.
This is an exciting year for JA Guam as we are looking to expand our program offering. JA
Worldwide is collaborating with Microsoft with an aggressive goal of reaching 200,000
students from the Asia Pacific Region by the end of this year!
Microsoft launched their 2020 Global Initiative aiming to provide digital skills via an online
learning platform. The Microsoft Team is combining existing and brand new resources from
LinkedIn, GitHub, and Microsoft.
These are the 3 focus points:
• The use of data to find in-demand jobs & the skills needed to fill them.
• Free access to learning paths & content to help develop skills required for their career.
• Low-cost certifications & free job seeking tools
This Microsoft Opportunity is taking a 2-prong approach:
#1 Target 200,000 beneficiaries in the JA Asia Pacific Region
#2 Secure positions for young people who lost their jobs. Program Format available upon
request.
