RE: JA Guam 2020/2021 partnership invitation

                         Buenas yan Hafa Adai, Melanie!

On behalf of the Board of Directors, JA Guam would like to express our sincerest thanks for
your support over the past 3 years. GEDA support is a crucial component to the viability of
this new “normal” that we are all experiencing in our community. It is our hope that you will
continue to partner with us this school year 2020/2021.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, JA Guam will be restructuring the implementation of our
flagship program: JA Company Program. We want to ensure the safety and welfare of our
students, volunteers and teachers so we will be going virtual as much as possible. .

We are excited to expand our program offering by participating alongside with JA Worldwide
and Microsoft in a 2020 Global Initiative. The goal is to have 200,000 students from the Asia
Pacific Region by the end of this year! Our goal is to have as many Guam students be a part
                         of this exciting program.

The 2020 Global Initiative aims to provide digital skills via an online learning platform,
combining existing and brand new resources from LinkedIn, GitHub, and Microsoft.

These are the 3 focus points:

                         • The use of data to find in-demand jobs & the skills needed to fill them.
                         • Free access to learning paths & content to help develop skills required for their career.
                         • Low-cost certifications & free job seeking tools

This Microsoft Opportunity is taking a 2-prong approach:
#1 Target 200,000 beneficiaries in the JA Asia Pacific Region

#2 Secure positions for young people who lost their jobs. Program Format available upon
                         request.
