Louis: No reported case of COVID-19. Students are back to schools. However, still no CCA
                         (Curriculum Activities) allowed.

                         China (update via email)

Judy: Our students are still in summer holidays, our national COY final will be held online
this Sat. We have nothing special to report thus far. Please give my best regards to all JA AP
                         friends.

Japan (update via email) / Yoriko:

                         • - Our team members are healthy. Basically, all of us work at home.
                         • - Schools are open, but most of them are now in summer break.

                         • - Due to the guidance from Ministry of Education in Japan, schools are not allowed to have
group discussions, so JA Japan currently runs programs like mentoring using breakout room
function of Zoom or run programs for families at home.
                         • Kick-off of TTBiz2020 is going to be held on August 16. Because all exchange programs at
school are cancelled due to COVID-19, much more schools are interested in TTBiz this year.
                         • More than double # of teams applied than projected team #, and after all 27 teams will be
formed with Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Philippines.
                         • Usually during summer break, many JA Job Shadows used to be implemented, but no
company can invite students to their office, so we try to persuade such companies to run
                           mentoring instead.

                         2. Updates from Maziar and the ROC team

                           • Winnie expressed interest in some of the country updates and a desire to include them
in upcoming editions of JA AP WORKS.

                           • Monique updated overall BD situation including Microsoft and expressed thanks for
everyone’s involvement. She also pointed out that given the limited budget, there is
limited country engagement with this project at the moment, but this will hopefully
expand and include more countries next year.
                           • Adrian expressed appreciation to everyone for timely submissions for COY, and
specifically the support from event host – JA Guam. He also acknowledged the
incredible creativity of student teams and reminded everyone of the links he recently
shared and encouraged everyone to use social media to help spread the word.
                           • Adrian highlighted that the Welcome and Opening and Awards Ceremony are sure to be
highlights and worth tuning in for. He also expressed thanks for everyone helping
                               provide input for Hewitt report.
