• Company Program is underway. JA India is looking at a virtual regional round of CP competition,
with the national final in the first week of December
• JA India had just wrapped up a webinar session on empathy and compassion – looking at reaching
more than 5,000 teachers across the country in total, with 300 reached in this first batch. They
are looking at teacher workshops with another partner centered around creativity, innovation and

21 century skills – this would involve state government (70,000 teachers in one state alone with
the opportunity to scale up nationally)
Vivian / Hong Kong
• Vivian updated that HK is doing ok. School and classes are resuming half days.
• Virtual and video is the new norm for JA Hong Kong. All programs have been converted to a
blended model.
• Aiming for a gaming expo and physical event in mid-November.
• Confirmed a three-year / three-million-dollar partnership for speed mentoring with Deloitte
Foundation with matching funds from local government (STEAM)
• Hong Kong Jockey Club is funding to develop an online platform for career development with
personality profiling and mentorship from business leaders.
• Big Max is a project on revamping Financial Literacy program, focus on fin-tech and upgrade of IT
infrastructure.
Ayesha / Pakistan
• Schools started opening since September 15 on hybrid model - Kids can go to school or online
• Business started to open, JA staff have options to WFH or go into office
• Worked with CIE, scheduled event for end of November, ongoing for 2 months, hope it all goes
smoothly.
• Ayesha mentioned a new training with SAP (passthrough from INJAZ) on scratch program that was
previously delayed is now underway. This will involve 3,000 students – all online and covering
social entrepreneurship.
• A three-year project, JA Pakistan is in talks with the largest operator in education space in Pakistan
around content development.
• Partnership with SABIC on social entrepreneurship got cancel and is in the process of revival now
• Working on Year 2 on Entrepreneurship Camp partnership, mainly supporting on providing
content and monitoring and evaluation.
• There is also an incubator partnership serving marginal students that is underway and will launch
November 2.
• JA Pakistan is searching for more board members and have approached someone from Shell.
Kanae / Japan

• Kanae updated that things in Japan are improving and they are at the end of the 2 wave of
COVID.
• Schools are getting back to normal, except for group works. JA is not visiting schools now.
• In collaboration with Accenture Japan – The Catch Your Dream Program is in high demand as it is
a career related program and now designed to be delivered virtually.
• JA Japan is also driving job shadowing through virtual office tour.
• They are working with SAP Japan to use online discussion tool (Mural) in social I-camp for high
school students.
• Also supported by SAP Japan is the MESE competition - an online program that has been running
for some years.
• Working with NN Group on the Social Innovation Relay Competition.
• ITC – began accepting applications and is going online.
• JA Japan will have an upcoming alumni event that will coincide with JA Japan’s 25-year anniversary
celebration.
