REFUGEE SERVICES

         Amplitude ‘Amps up’ its Workforce

         with Refugee Support

When Samaritas works with refugees to get them settled in Michigan, they leave
our program job-ready! By partnering with Samaritas, Amplitude Human
Resources in Troy, Mich. seamlessly hired hundreds of Ukrainians without the
hassle of dealing with federal paperwork and bureaucracy.

Amplitude has employed more than 300 Samaritas refugees in the past year and
has gone above and beyond to negotiate higher wages, fast-track training for job
upgrades, and coordinate transportation for those who cannot drive. They’ve
connected our temporary workers with companies that support on-site English
classes. And they’ve also offered workers of the same family, same-day shifts to
         ease transportation and childcare challenges.

Businesses were astounded by the incredible work ethic of these Samaritas-
trained refugees and have added many of them as permanent workers within
90 days of their first assignment. Many are working in manufacturing
environments or as full-time onsite interpreters. For information on how you
can partner with Samaritas for employment resources, contact Pam DeBono at

more blessing to bestow. A member of the chorus generously donated a van to the Safi family!

Amir and Noor are brothers who live close together in Hamtramck. With five children between
them, plus other family they have 18 to 19 people in need of transportation. This van is a HUGE
