Cerne Abbas Charity Competitions 2013
Cerne Abbas Charity Competitions 2013
Cerne Abbas SMBC held its two annual charity competitions, the ‘Six of the Best’ and the Cerne
Open Triples, on consecutive days over a weekend. This year’s nominated charity was Weldmar,
a local cancer charity, in memory of club Chairman, David Stevens, who died earlier in the year.
A magnificent total of £1,800 was raised for this worthy cause from a popular crossword, a quiz
night, raffles, food sales and competition entry fees. The club would like to thank all those who
contributed so generously, participated and assisted.
