U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II’s assigned to the 61st Fighter Squad- ron and an F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft assigned to the 309th Fighter Squadron, fly in formation, Jan. 19, 2024, over Luke AFB, Arizona. The F- 35A is an agile, versatile, high-perfor- mance, nine G-force capable multirole fighter that combines stealth, sensor fusion and unprecedented situational awareness. Flying operations at Luke AFB contribute to advancing train- ing, producing mission command fo- cused U.S., allied and partner Airmen to meet warfighter needs.
