and Deon Nielsen Price.
The AVC Symphonic Band thrusts our own members into
the spotlight with solo or section features and original Hooray for Hollywood Pops Concert
compositions, combined with concert band standards.

patriotic music with something for everyone!

The year 2015 is full of important anniversaries that relate to
themes of war and thanksgiving. Examples include: the defeat
of Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815; the end of the
American Civil War in 1865; the dropping of atomic bombs
on Japan in 1945; and the publication of the Lord of the Rings
in 1955. This program features music connected to these and
other significant historical events.
