The Objective
KNOWLEDGE
Military discipline that uses information collection and analysis approaches to provide guid-
ance and direction to assist commanders in their decisions. This aim is achieved by providing
an assessment of data from a range of sources, directed towards the commanders' mission
requirements or responding to questions as part of operational or campaign planning. To
provide an analysis, the commander's information requirements are rst identi ed, which are
then incorporated into intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination.
SECURED
MBITR multiband and iMBITR is a family of digital and secure high frequency radios. It features
all modern HF interoperability modes with e cient vocoding, data transmission and automatic
link establishment protocols. The AN/PRC 148 JEM’s programmable cryptography support the
requirement of National Security Agency (NSA) crypto modernization to protect the con denti-
ality of voice and data up through the Top Secret level.
EQUIPMENT
Smart Troop Leader encourage communication strengths in the war by modeling superior com-
munication skills with their own messages. E ective communicators educate brigate and battal-
ion on the their platoon individual frames of reference and adapt their messages accordingly.
Brigate Leader recognize that meaning exists not in words, but in the people who use those
words, and they use language that their infrantry will understand, avoiding slang, jargon or
colloquial expressions. Most important, however, Pasukan Khas Laut (Paskal) will have a great
communication with clear voice and data input by using MBITR or iMBITR from Thales. It’s also
provide them a great tactical system throught their movement in their activities.
TIME
To provide Quick Response Force (QRF), Rapid Deployment Forces and Rapid Response (NATO).
Pasukan Khas Laut units are most often units that react to local or regional issues within their
area of jurisdiction. With the right communication equipment and system, the troop will have
the capability of "Forced Entry" into a territory to seize and secure key terrain on time.
