EmPOWer Lansing celebrated their four-year anniversary
with a new expansion! The new expansion includes 24/7
access and plenty of room to work out with brand new
weight equipment. EmPOWer Lansing is located at 2010
E. Michigan Ave., Suite 107, Lansing.

Therapy Today, a unique and innovative woman-owned
small business, celebrated its 10-year anniversary on July
1st with a tree-planting ceremony, donating 10 fruit trees
to Hawk Nest Park in East Lansing. Starting with only one
therapist in 2012, Therapy Today now employs 50 therapists
providing high quality mental health care to hundreds of
people each week. Therapy Today is expanding into other
states and plans to celebrate their 20-year anniversary in
2032 by operating in all 50 states.

July 5, 2022 was exactly 50 years to the day that Elderly
Instruments opened their doors in the Old Town
community. To celebrate this incredible milestone,
Elderly Instruments invited the community for an all-day
summer Block Party. The Elderly team was so proud to
provide two stages with 11 hours of music, special in-store
deals, food trucks and lots of other business vendors and
kids activities. Elderly Instruments was started by Stan
Werbin and the tradition continues as his daughter Lillian
steps into a larger leadership role.

Capitol National Bank is kicking off their 40th anniversary
celebration with the grand opening of a new branch in
Okemos, located at 2285 W. Grand River Ave., Okemos.
Capitol National Bank has been the chosen community
bank by offering customer solutions that result in long-
term relationships and enhanced value. Guests of the
Okemos branch will enjoy the convenience of free parking,
drive-thru service, ATM and night deposit.

It was a beautiful night for the July Member Mixer! Hosted
by Cleats Bar & Grill, members enjoyed making new
connections on the large outdoor patio. Thank you to
everyone who joined the Chamber. It was wonderful to see
many members of Greater Lansing’s business community
in attendance!
