PAPER TRADING
It is imperative to first be profitable when “Paper Trading” before
trading with real money.
While “Paper Trading” will not have the same psychology “feel” as
trading with real money, it is a great way to practice your trading skills
in a stress free environment so that you can focus on your approach and
trading system. “Paper Trading” gives you the time you need to hone
your trading skills without losing money.
Every financial market is a championship arena. Short term trading is
a zero-sum game. When you enter any financial market you will be
competing against some very skilled and professional traders. If you
enter the market as a novice, you will be competing against traders that
have more skill and more experience. To give yourself a fighting
chance, you need to enter the markets as skilled as your competition.
Anything less will make it hard for you to succeed in trading.
