Often the name of the designer has to be mentio- ned on the design application. The following infor- mation needs to be provided to Group Legal & IP Department when requesting design protection:
• Name and address of designer

Industrial design protection is territorial. To be able to defend your design against copies or imitations, registrations need to be sought in relevant markets. Without a registration, taking legal action against imitators and counterfeiters will be difficult or even impossible.
