          Here’s an old friend in a new guise: the rolling hitch (page 37) tied onto its   Strength
          standing part to create a loop. The hitch can then slide up and down the   Security
          line to adjust the loop, and be tightened once it’s the right size.   Diffi culty Tying

          Recommended on land for tent guys and the like, while at sea it can be
