Deliberate and prophetic sacrificial praying blocked this man from going to hell. One sacrifice that David offered to God stopped the ravaging plague in the entire land. 2 Samuel 24:24 (NLT) says “David built an altar there to the LORD and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. And the LORD answered his prayer, and the plague stopped”.
When your prayers enter into a sacrificial dimension, nothing working against the will of God in your life will be permitted to live around you.
I know of servants of God who lived a life of sacrifice and today they are enjoying the fruits of their unusual commitment to the will of God. The late servant of God Lester Sumrall talks in his book of paying tuition fees for a Bible College student by selling his only car. That was a grand sacrifice backed by the spirit of obedience. The only statement he made was, “I don’t know what this young man would become one day.” That sacrifice landed him in unexplainable favor everywhere in life. Every time he traveled, people he did not even know paid for his airplane tickets. Sacrificial praying and living is the cheapest way to provoke God’s hand in your life.
