no wonder we have so many spiritual casualties. There is too much spiritual weakness in the church. People are spiritually weak! At least every week in our ministry “Rise and Walk Faith Ministries Worldwide Inc.”, I deal with cases of believers looking for spiritual empowerment and refreshment. Sometimes, I sit down with them, and ask them basic questions. I could find out that none of them know anything about fasting, let alone sacrificial praying. I don’t blame them this is because no one is teaching them the vitality of fasting.
They don’t know what it is to wait upon the LORD in prayer and fasting for divine direction and empowerment. Acts 13:2 says:
As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
The Lord Jesus is calling you back to sacrificial praying and fasting. We have become familiar with God. We are always looking for fast results and answers; however, there are not coming forth, so we get frustrated. Do not bring the system of the world into the church today. Mark 9:28-29 says:
