Another man of God stopped taking milk with tea. When asked why, he said there was no need for him to take milk with tea when orphans, kids and those in needy are starving. So, the money that was meant for milk was given to feed the poor. He did that for many years! It may not directly apply to you, and don’t you ever do the same thing in an effort to live a life of sacrifice! It was done out of conviction and revelation. What you do outside revelation does not profit and benefit you that much.
What the man of God did was to show us the level of sacrifice that God is looking for in your life as it pertains to His kingdom. At least start with prayer and graduate to other more things. The man of God above was completely committed to the will of God more than to his own desires. Today he is enjoying prosperity incomparable—heaven is committed to his needs. His living is totally sacrificial to the glory of God! Today he is a man of success, commanding favor from everywhere in life.
