APPENDIX 2: The guide for designing and monitoring IDP
The purpose of VinUniversity is developing an excellent university which develops talents for future. All faculty,
staff, and students are passionate and committed to the Pledge which demonstrates our journey to devote to the
community:

Gifted high schools’ pupils are admitted to and developed at VinUni’ unique learning environment with the aim
to transform to university graduates with desired EXCEL attributes, and later to become true talents who can
create significant values for the society. Individual Development Plan is seen as a critical tool to help monitoring
the transformation process as described in the illustration below.
