The Art Gallery of the University of Waterloo is committed to
enriching the cultural and intellectual environment of the university.
Its exhibits alternate frequently, allowing for the unique expression of
many students, all with di erent perspectives on the environment
around them. It is an especially meaningful experience for students
and faculty to have access to artwork made by their peers, students,
and neighbors. With 20% of the University of Waterloo’s students
being international, UWAG is a cultural melting pot, showcasing art
with in uences from all over the world. This opens the eyes of the
viewers to the di erences that make us interesting and the similarities
that bring us together.
