Your Future is Composite High, and the Future is now…

Composite High School Staff and Administration, along with Fort McMurray Public School’s
Trustees and District office staff have listened to what parents and the community looking for in a
school. We have taken those ideas and implemented what we believe is the ultimate in great
educational programming.

Composite High has expanded its CTS programming, adding Fashions, broadcasting (in
partnership with Keyano College), Computer Science and Coding. We have also looked for programming
changes and developments that will jump start students interested in the Medical and Engineering
fields.

Our Pre- medical program can ready a student for the rigors
and challenges that face someone in the medical industry. Students
can work towards the completion of
2 years of certified pre-medical
training. Our Pre-engineering
programs offer the analytical
minded student with Computer
Assisted Drafting (CAD) and
Mechatronics courses that help
students achieve school sponsored
internships (and possible bursaries) over the summer months at various Colleges and Universities
around North America. MIT, the University of Alberta, and Stanford are just a few.

As a further incentive, Keyano college is located immediately next door, which has created some
special partnership opportunities. Journey man welding instructors, inter-facility usage, broadcasting
training and voluteering prospects.

Lastly, Composite High is the school that builds
relationships and partnerships in the community.
Wether, voluteering, or servicing and training with local
businesses. We let no stones of opportunity go
unturned. From our 2D and 3D courses creating
templates and graphics for school District Vehicles,
to our mechanics program being open to the public
for service work Composite High is the school that
creates.
