Facility Planning Process
Hudson City Schools recognized the need for a Master Facility Plan, which is a
holistic and strategic plan to address the long-range needs and vision of the District.
The Master Plan must support the long-range vision for excellence in education for
the District while maintaining and preserving facility assets. The final plan is a
balanced solution for optimizing building conditions, student capacity, and education
practices within an achievable budget.
Introduction of the Comprehensive Plan
In September of 2016 a Comprehensive Master Facility Plan was
introduced. This Comprehensive Plan included:
• A detailed description of the Facility Planning and Development Process
• A Building Condition Analysis
• A Capacity Analysis and Enrollment Studies
• The Established Priorities
• The Proposal of three comprehensive Facility Plans
• Silver
• White
• Blue
