        performed more than 7300 operations for
        otosclerosis, more than 4000 operations
        for ossicular reconstruction and more
        than 260 operations for congenital mal-
        formation of the ossicular chain.
           Since the age of 21, he runs an annu-
        al  advanced  otology  course  in  June  at
        the Jean Causse Ear Clinic. Since 2005,
        he has been the General Secretary and
        co-founder of the Live International Oto-
        laryngology Network which is promoting
        a free HD videoconferencing advanced
        e-learning program on middle ear sur-
        gery. He is on the editorial board of sever-
        al scientific journals such as the Otology
        & Neurotology Journal, the Journal of the
        Mediterranean Society of Otology and
        additionally serves as a reviewer for many
        professional publications.
           Dr Vincent became an Honorary Fel-
        low of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ed-
        inburgh in September 2005 and Honorary
        Member of the Indian Society of Otology
        in November 2006. He is also a member of
        several ear, nose and throat societies such
        as the American Academy of Otolaryngol-
