Shaun Wilden has officially stepped down from the committee after several years.
Here’s an exclusive extended interview for members, which was recorded on 25 April,
in which he talks about his time on the SIG, which included four years as a joint
coordinator. This light-hearted interview is peppered with references to one of his
favourite ever books / shows, ‘The HitchHiker's Guide To The Galaxy’ and how
prescient author Douglas Adams was about the future of language technology.

Sylvia Guinan has decided not to stand again in her
position as web editor / webmaster. We asked her
some questions recently about her long time being
involved with the SIG.

How long have you been involved with the LTSIG
committee?

I’ve been Website Editor of the LTSIG for the past

three years and I’ve also been a speaker for and
promoter of the LTSIG in the past.
