             COACHING Highlights
              ◆ ◆ 2019 represents fourth season with the Angels organization and first as the Club’s
               third  base  coach  (replacing  Dino  Ebel)...From  2016-18  was  the  Club’s  Director,
               Baseball  Development...In  2009-15,  served  as  Oakland’s  third  base  coach,  which
               included three trips to the postseason (2012, 2013 & 2014)...Joined the A’s following
               nine seasons (2000-08) working in the Colorado Rockies organization...From 2005-
               08, served on the Rockies’ Major League staff as third base and infield coach...Under
               tutelage, Colorado set a Major League record for fielding percentage with a mark
               of .989 in 2007...Troy Tulotwitzki led Major League shortstops with a .987 fielding
               percentage  that  year  and  Todd  Helton  topped  all  N.L.  first  baseman  with  a  .999
               fielding percentage...Spent a majority of the 2000-04 seasons as the organization’s
               roving infield coordinator...Joined the Major League coaching briefly in 2002 before
               returning to the minor league coaching ranks for the ‘03 and ‘04 seasons...Began

               coaching career as Boston’s minor league infield instructor in 1999.

              ◆ ◆ Played 13 Major League seasons with the A’s (1985-91, ’95), Yankees (1992-94) and
               Cardinals  (1996-97),  compiling  a  .239  (700/2931)  average  with  111  doubles,  12
               triples, 42 home runs and 282 RBI...Fashioned a .986 career fielding percentage at
               second base over 2,6000 total chances...Played in four career postseasons, including
               trips to three straight World Series with Oakland (1988-90)...Was a member of the
               1989 World Series Champion A’s...Returned to the postseason with the Cardinals in
               1996...Originally drafted by the Oakland A’s in the second round of the 1981 First-Year
               Player Draft...Played collegiately at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for
               three years before after prepping at St. Paul High School (Santa Fe Springs, CA -  17 miles from Angel Stadium).
              ◆ ◆ He and wife Caryn have twin sons, Joe and Nicholas “Niko” and a daughter Ali and reside in Scottsdale, AZ...Son Niko also played college
               baseball at UCLA and played in the 2010 College World Series against South Carolina...Niko was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks
               in the 27th round and went on to play five seasons of professional baseball...Uncle of Dodgers catcher Austin Barnes...Full name is
