Tropical Carrot, Ginger and Turmeric Smoothie
(Serves 2)
1 orange, peel and white pith removed
1 large carrot, coarsely chopped
½ cup frozen mango chunks
2/3 cup coconut water
1 tablespoon shelled raw hemp seeds
1 drop Ginger essential oil
1-2 drops Turmeric essential oil
1 drop Juniper Berry essential oil
Pinch kosher salt
½ cup ice
Using smoothie or ice crush setting, puree orange, carrot,
mango, coconut water, hemp seeds, Ginger,Turmeric and
Juniper Berry essential oils, salt and ½ cup ice in blender
until smooth
TIP:
When using essential oils in
food or beverages, try the
toothpick method by
dipping the end of a
toothpick into the essential
oil and then adding it to the
food/beverage. A small
