Rising Stars Early College High School Academy-- The Rising Stars Early College High School
Academy provides academically prepared 9th graders the opportunity to earn a high school diploma
and an Associate’s Degree in Social Science from Brookdale Community College. See Rising Stars

Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management Academy— Global logistics and supply chain
management connect internal functions of an organization with other institutions around the globe. It
is vital to understand the roles of logistics and supply chain management in a global economy where
individuals and organizations have access to markets across the world. This field requires critical
thinking and problem solving skills to coordinate the movement of goods and services. Required
Courses: Global Logistics I-IV
Tomorrows Teachers— This academy was designed for students who aspire to become teachers.
These students take a cohort of classes developed by the Center for Education, Recruitment,
Retention and Advancement. Required Courses: Tomorrows Teachers, Early Childhood
Development and Educational Technology Literacy.
Performing Arts Academy— The Performing Arts Academy at Keyport High School is provided to
all students who show and interest in the arts. The focus of this series of classes is on learning
experiences for emerging artists who possess an interest in the visual and performing arts. The
program offers experience in theatre, dance, and production. Courses that make up the academy
are: Performing Arts I-II, Art I-IV, TV Production I-II, and Dance
Health and Sports Science Studies Academy— A series of courses designed for the student that
has an interest in Sports and Health Sciences. The courses are based on science, social studies, and
field experience in movement science. This Academy is ideal for students interested in a career in
nursing, athletic training, sports management and exercise science. Required Courses: Fitness and
Conditioning, History and Ethics of Sports, Anatomy and Physiology I-II, Psychology.
