Colonial / Paul Revere | Group Hospital Confinement
Indemnity Insurance
Group Hospital Confinement Indemnity Insurance (Medical Bridge) insurance can help with medical costs associated with
a hospital stay that your health insurance may not cover. These benefits are available for you, your spouse and eligible
dependent children. This plan also includes a health screening benefit that pays $50 per day for select health screenings.
Colonial / Paul Revere | Group Accident
Colonial / Paul Revere Group Accident insurance will pay you a benefit to help cover your out-of-pocket medical costs
in case of a covered accident. Benefits are paid according to a fixed schedule to help fill some of the gaps caused by
deductibles, copays and out-of-pocket expenses.
In addition, an accidental death, accidental dismemberment, and catastrophic accident benefit is included to provide
a benefit for severe injuries or death in the case of an accident. Coverage is available for you and your family with plan
options to cover on and off-job benefits if elected.
Colonial / Paul Revere | Group Specified Disease
A serious medical event such as cancer, heart attack or stroke could leave you in a period of financial difficulty. Even if
you have major medical coverage, there are typically uncovered expenses to consider, such as deductibles and copays,
travel expenses to and from treatment centers, and the loss of wages or salary. Group Specified Disease coverage from
Colonial / Paul Revere offers lump sum payments for covered critical illness conditions such as heart attack, stroke, end
state renal failure, major organ failure, coma, permanent paralysis due to a covered accident, blindness, coronary artery
bypass graft surgery/disease, and cancer.
Traditionally, cancer insurance and critical illness insurance are bought separately, but Colonial / Paul Revere’s Group
Critical Care plan conveniently combines both into a single policy. You’re free to use the benefits however you choose.
And coverage may be available for you, your spouse/registered domestic partner and your eligible dependents. In
addition, this plan includes a health screening benefit to help you pay for part of the expense of tests you may normally
have each year. The benefit allows a maximum of 1 screening test per covered person per calendar year.
