DUNS NUMBER NAIC CODES
Before you can bid on any government contract, you will need to register for a Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS) . A DUNS number is a unique 9-digit number for each physical location of your business. When registering for your DUNS number, you may want to have the following information at hand:
Legal Name
Headquarters name and address of business
Doing Business As (DBA) or other name by which your company is reconized as Physical address, phone number
Contact name and title
Number of employees at physical location Whether you are a home-based business
NAICS Codes
NAIC (North American Industry Classification) codes classify your business based on your particular product line or services. You'll need to match your products and services to a particular NAIC code .
