your organization to start thinking about creating a new name for a product according to what words best describe it to your people and what those words mean to them.
To import a custom taxonomy to the Term Store, follow these steps:
1. ClickTermStorefromtheleftnavigationintheSharePointOnlineAdmin Center.
Make sure that your name is listed under Term Store Administrators.
2. UnderSampleImportontherightpane,clickViewaSampleImportFile.
3. Downloadthecomma-separatedvalues(.csv)fileandmakeeditstoitin
Excel to fit your taxonomy.
4. InExcel,arrangethetermsinhierarchiesuptosevenlevelsdeep.
5. Savethefileinitsoriginal.csvformat.
6. BackattheTermStorefromtheSharePointOnlineAdminCenter,hover the mouse pointer over the group where you want to load the Term set and then click on the arrow that appears on the right (see Figure 8-6) to display additional commands.
If you don’t see the arrow when you hover the mouse pointer over the group, make sure you’ve added yourself as a Term Store Administrator and saved the setting.
