The management section for Exchange can be accessed by expanding the Admin link in the lower-left of the main Office 365 administration page and then clicking the Exchange link. When you click the Exchange link, you are presented with the Exchange Admin Center, as shown in Figure 20-3.
The Exchange Admin Center follows the same theme as the Office 365 Admin Center with navigational links down the left side. The links include Dashboard, Recipients, Permissions, Compliance Management, Organization, Protection, Mail Flow, Mobile, Public Folders, and Unified Messaging.
When you are administering Exchange, there are tasks you will find yourself con- stantly doing. Navigating through a long set of clicks can be a hassle. For this reason, the Dashboard has links to admin pages you find you use frequently. The Dashboard provides a quick place to perform common tasks, such as working with recipients of email, setting permissions, working with compliance and security, and handling mail flow.
The Exchange Online management pages contain a tremendous number of con- figuration settings that could only fully be covered with a dedicated book on the topic. The following sections provide an overview to managing Exchange for yourself or your organization.
