Super Amazing Futebol (Soccer) Tournament
After the success of the rst friendly game of soccer in July, Corey Fraser organized a four team tournament which was held Monday, August 12 at Paul Coffey Park near Woodbine Racetrack.
The teams consisted of jockeys and employees on the backstretch at Woodbine with three games scheduled to decide the winner.
The Red Team - The Claimers
The Black Team
The White Team - the Contreras
The Blue Team - Miller Time
Due to time constraints the last and deciding
game was not played and is in the process of being rescheduled.
The rules were indoor style soccer 8 a side with no slide tackles, rolling substitutions and no offsides.
A BBQ and refreshments were shared afterwards.
A good time was had by all including the family and friends who came out to cheer.
