Iceberg Alley - Ontario bred 2 year old colt by Victor’s Cry - Whererainbowsmeet, by Oka Revolt Trained by Lorna Perkins.
Whererainbowsmeet (BC) a 1998 mare, who recorded 5 wins for owner Cheryl Fruno with trainer Tom Longstaff, was claimed in her last winning race by James Brown for owner Les Maisey before Tom Longstaff claimed her back two starts later for owner TNT Racing. The mare returned to James Brown’s barn when claimed back by Les Maisy and Jim Veitch in her last career race and they sent her to the breeding shed.
Iceberg Alley is a half brother to Vegas Weekend (BC), a 2006 gelding by Orchid’s Devil who had 8 wins 9 seconds 10 thirds in 56 starts $273,415 at Woodbine and Devil In Willie (BC), a 2007 gelding also by Orchid’s Devil who recorded 6 wins 5 seconds 8 thirds in 82 starts $109,873 at Woodbine & Fort Erie
Working as a groom in the early hours of the day O’Neil Millz also helps hold horses for blacksmith Don McIsaac who is under Rockport Dancer tting new shoes at Woodbine.

Kevin Jackson soaks in the midday sunshine as he chops carrots, apple, and banana (and mints) which he adds to the feed of the horses he grooms for trainer Steve Owens at Woodbine. “They get a little bit of everything.” smiles Kevin, “It gives me pleasure to do this for the horses.”
Kevin is currently grooming 5 horses this year in his fth season working for Steve.
