STEP 3 After exactly two frapping turns, make these tucks and then
pull them down between the ropes.
Tighten the seizing by pulling the running end down between the
ropes, until the last tucks you have made are tightly wedged between the
ropes.
WEST COUNTRY WHIPPING
You can make this type of whipping at the end of a rope, or you can add
it to a place on the rope where you plan to make the cut, so that you
prevent the end from fraying.
STEP 1 Tie an Overhand Knot around the rope, leaving both ends of
equal length.
