ROLE IN THE RAF?

The Royal Air Force is recruiting now and is looking for more
than 2,000 people to join the service this year.

We have more than 50 different types of jobs on offer, from
Cyberspace Communications Specialist to Pilot to Intelligence
Analyst. Some of our roles, such as RAF Regiment Gunner
and Chef, need no formal qualifications, so there really is
something for everyone.

We have 20 job roles to choose from with RAF-delivered
apprenticeships rated Outstanding by Ofsted. Compared to
most civilian employers that offer apprenticeships and pay in
the region of £7,696, the RAF pays its apprentices £14,931 and
offers a guaranteed job at the end of training.

For our Officers, we have a competitive starting salary
of £30,616.

We offer a competitive package of free medical and
dental cover, gym membership and subsidised food and
accommodation, which means that more of your salary is
disposable income at the end of the month.

In addition, there are opportunities for education and training
and six weeks’ paid leave, plus public holidays, and generous
maternity and paternity packages.
