Last weekend, April 1 , my daughter competed at the State Gymnastics tournament in

DeKalb. Wanting to be supportive of her efforts regardless of the outcome, I stopped at
th
the Jewel on 59 and 95 on my way to the meeting in hopes that I’d find something. I
was running late and frankly, wasn’t hopeful that I’d find much on a Saturday

morning. During my rushed explanation of what I was looking for (and expecting to be
directed to a pre-arranged bouquet in a cooler), Toni the Floral Manager stopped what
she was doing and quickly sprang into action, quizzing me on the colors in my daughter’s
leotard and her age so that she could “whip up something appropriate”. Talk about an
understatement! The small bouquet she came up with was perfect! I was not just
pleasantly surprised, but absolutely amazed by the efforts that she put forth and can
happily tell you that the flowers *still* look as good today as they did a week and a half
ago.

Please tell as many people as you can about this exceptional experience. I’ll be buying
more flowers from Jewel in the future because of this experience, and I’ve already told my
neighbors about Toni so they can see for themselves how great she is.
