Eduardo is an active member on campus by serving as a band leader, captain of
Scholastic Bowl, and member of the Speech Team. He describes these experiences
as extremely valuable as it has given him the opportunity to serve as a positive
mentor to others. He credits this experience for helping him develop his skills as a
leader and has influenced him to work harder to achieve his career goals. His Store
Director describes him as an “effective team-player with exceptional work ethic.”
Eduardo plans to continue a career at Jewel-Osco where he can apply his learned
knowledge and leadership skills as a Pharmacist.

Stacey Bjerga

Stacey credits her experience at Jewel-Osco for giving her
valuable new skills and life lessons. Throughout her time and
development with Jewel-Osco, Stacey has been able to take
on tasks with increasing responsibility, in order to learn what
it takes to be a leader and manager. She is confident if she
continues her career at Jewel-Osco, it will provide her with
many skills and opportunities for growth in the future. Stacey
plans to pursue a position in the Store Management Training
program to help her gain the knowledge needed to prepare
her for a future role in Human Resources. 34
