Joshua Ruiz
Store #2346 – Carol Stream, Grocery Clerk

Joshua is described by his Store Director as a “self-motivated and hardworking
employee that truly cares about his work.” Outside work and the classroom,
Joshua has devoted countless hours volunteering at his church all while leading
his baseball team by serving as Team Captain. He is driven to do the best in all
that he does and feels that these experiences have shaped him into the
confident, hard-working, and passionate leader he is today. Joshua plans to
utilize his degree in hopes of advancing his career with Jewel-Osco as a
Pharmacist.

Sean Roland
Store #3098 – Alsip, Produce Clerk
Saint Xavier University

Sean is described by his Store Director as a “self-motivated, hard-working
individual with a solid work ethic.” From his experience at Jewel-Osco, Sean
has learned the importance of working hard in order to achieve what you
want. Outside of work, Sean has taken on many leadership roles including
member of his school’s Bowling Team, Psychology Club, Pre-Med Society,
and Psi Chi to name a few. Upon graduation, Sean plans on pursuing a
management position at Jewel-Osco and looks forward to continuing to
make a positive impact on the community and business.
