Townville Elementary March News
TES Archery Team: We are so proud of the students who have made the TES Archery Team
for the 2016-17 school year. These students have participated in two tournaments and are get-
ting better and better! The team is coached by Rus Laven, Kyle Caudell, and Bruce Brock.

We have two sixth grade students who are on the Riverside Middle School Archery
team. Congratulations to Mattie Chambers and Jamal Lomax for making this team.

Literacy Night
TES families were invited to a fun-filled night of literacy activities. There was a variety of activi-
ties for all to participate in that revolved around a winter theme. A few activities that students and
their families enjoyed were: making hot cocoa, creating books, making special items related to
book characters, and listening to local firefighters read winter tales. Families will be able to at-
tend a Spring Literacy Night in April.
