Blue Screen time
Are you experiencing some difficulties with having good sleep? In that case, it’s not only you. That has been a
stumbling block for mankind recently. If you’re concerned about why we’re experiencing this kind of problem,
even if you’re young, then it’s probably because of blue lights. Blue light is light with a blue wavelength that is
released by the sun and every electronic device such as smartphones.
Getting exposed to it during daytimes, for a limited amount of time could regulate the body’s natural wake
and sleep cycle, which will cause an elevation in mood. And in youngsters, the blue light helps with their
development of eyes and visions. However, getting exposed to too much artificial light messes with your
brain’s ability to change situations and this causes not only sleep cycle disruption but also an affective
disorder leading to depression. These are more common in teenagers and children.
Electronics have become indispensable but if we exceed our limit for something it’ll affect us badly, so try to
cut your screen time and avoid it, especially at night. Also wearing protection glasses could prevent some eye
diseases caused by blue lights.
